The days are getting colder as summer slips into fall. Good riddance! Everyone knows all the good holidays take place in the later half of the year, one of the best being Halloween. Once again, Atlus is going to be getting into the Halloween spirit with an Atlus-O-Weenie celebration. Like last year, the company is going to be holding a video game-themed costume contest with incredible prizes.

Atlus isn’t accepting costume contest submissions just yet. This year the company is developing an online photo submission page which will be up sometime in October, 2008. So for now, just prepare your costume of your favorite Atlus game character, because the company will be accepting pictures from October 1-31, 2008.

As for the prizes, they’re awesome. All treat and no trick. The person with the best costume gets Dokapon Kingdom for the PS2 or Wii, all three Izuna 2 mini-posters, the three cd Etrian Odyssey II soundtrack, a Growlanser: Illustration Archive signed by Satoshi Urushihara, a Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 poster signed by Masayuki Doi, a hardback promotional poster of almost any Atlus game and (quite possibly the coolest prize) a shirt from Persona 4.The five runners-up will receive copies of the signed Growlanser art book and Persona 4 t-shirts.
