Amazon offering Resistance 2 Collector’s Edition
A Collector’s Edition to the highly anticipated sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man has been spotted lurking around Amazon for the PS3. It includes a beefy amount of extra content for $79.99. Amazon also lists the release date for Resistance 2 as November 4, 2008, though that date can change at any moment before release.
Along with the game the Resistance 2 Collector’s Edition will include a bonus DVD of behind-the-scenes content and video commentary from the good people at Insomniac Games. There’s also a video called “Twisted History” that probably details the events leading up to the creation and invasion of the Chimera.
Speaking of Chimera, a 5.5 in. Chimera action figure with equipped with a Bullseye weapon will be thrown into the box as well. An exclusive in-game HVAP Wraith multiplayer skin comes in the pack next to a doubled-sided Resistance 2 art book that shows the battle from two perspectives and a look at the upcoming Resistance novel titled Resistance: The Gathering Storm
That’s a lot of things to wrap your head around. It seems like a good deal for roughly $20 more than the cost of the game alone.

OMG!!! Forget the behind the scenes content, dolls and what ever else. I’m just drooling over this game because it is going to be so hot.
Can’t wait to grab the sniper rifle again, slow down time and pump a full magazine into those big guys that throw fireballs at you. I’‘ve heard ROMII will have much larger open scenes which should be great for two player games. Can’t wait for November
