Sega announces Pictoimage, freehand drawing game for DS

by Pulkit Chandna on May 27, 2008 at 04:48 PM

PictoimageSega has announced yet another game for the handheld which promises innovative gameplay: PictoImage a drawing-oriented puzzle game that will help you hone drawing and mental skills.

Players will be required to accurately guess an image from an extensive library of 300 drawings in the single-player and two-player modes. The fun doesn’t cease there as the pictorial game has a multi-player mode which allows up to eight players to turn-by-turn draw an image based on a word that can be the name of an animal, object, food or “Other.” Competitors also have to guess the word that describes a drawing in front of them.

There will be eight different multi-player modes and players can raise the bar for their competitors by adding their own words to the game.

PictoImage release date has not yet been announced but is expected in August 2008. It hasn’t still received a rating, either, but don’t expect any protests over a benign game like this.

But the powers that be at the organization must be well aware of the dire consequences of the exodus. According to Jeff Brown, EA’s VP of corporate communications, during an interview to GameIndustry, the solution to the current predicament is simple: ESA should…

However, her father hasn’t come to terms with the game’s assessment of her stepdaughter’s body weight and refused to accept it. “She is a perfectly healthy, 4ft 9in tall 10-year-old who swims, dances and weighs only six stone,” the miffed father told the Daily Mail. Although he agreed to his stepdaughter being sturdily built, he didn’t accept that she was “fat.”

The game is under considerable fire from British obesity experts, who have…
