PlayStation Store Update: Exploring a tree and sniping enemies (October 18, to October 24, 2009)
This week’s featured downloadable game is Topatoi: The Great Tree Story for $9.99. Players control a vehicle that operates much like an old fashioned children’s spinning top toy through a platform puzzle to make their way up a tree by leaping, spinning or rolling through, over or across moving platforms.
This week’s PSP downloadable game is SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Tactical Strike for $15.99.

Sony Home Update: PixelJunk Museum, Dethklok and charitable purchases from EA

This week the PlayStation Home has partnered with EA Sports to create exclusive virtual items to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. At the mall gamers will find interesting items featuring the art work of Jon Burgerman, a UK based artist who brings unique and exclusive art items such as virtual clothes and tattoos for avatars as well as future art for in-home virtual spaces to the PlayStation Home.
Also, the Pixel Junk Museum just opened its virtual space filled with all things Pixel Junk to include videos, displays with descriptions of the creatures or vehicles found in games including Pixel Junk Shooter, Pixel Junk Eden, Pixel Junk Monsters and Pixel Junk Racers.
PlayStation Store Update: Cute Critters with bad habits (October 11 to October 17, 2009)
This week’s featured PS3 downloadable is a cute little game featuring a cute little critter named Biggs titled Critter Crunch for $6.99 and the PSP downloadable game features NBA 10: The Inside for $29.99 with new quests, new modes and minigames.
Sony Home Update: Home Improvements and a life aquatic (no puns intended)
Everybody’s Golf space just opened, this golf themed lounge area for Hot Shots Golf game fans comes to us from Japan, visitors to the space can participate in an in-world survey to unlock a reward item for their personal space.
Since the announcement of a major Home overhaul at the Gamescon 2009 in Cologne, Germany, the PS Home community have been buzzing the forums eager to try the new items promised. Well. It’s here now and Home is buzzing with avatars trying out the new emotes, dance moves, poses, games and unlocking new reward items on Home. Here is what was updated on Home…

This week’s featured downloadable game is an old PC classic from the 1980s with a serious makeover Digger HD for $9.99. In this game you control the construction digger through the ground tunneling to find precious jewels lost gold and even artifacts. But look out, strange alien-like monsters trying to stop you from successfully gathering all items beneath the ground.
Also this week, in celebration of the release of the new PSPgo there are 100 titles available for download today. The featured game for the PSP and PSPgo is Gran Turismo PSP for $39.99. This game features more than 100 different cars to choose from and trade with friends through wireless AdHoc connection with friends, more than 60 tracks to race on and hundreds of challenges to complete or challenge up to three friends in a race. Playstation Store Update: Zombies invade PS Store (September 27 to October 3, 2009)

Zombies have invaded the PlayStation Network Store for $9.99. If you liked Burn Zombie Burn then you’re going to love surviving this sea of zombies coming from every nook and cranny possible to take a bite out of you.
Also this week, gamers will find a price drop for Brain Challenge and Droplitz for $4.99. The price for Droplitz is only temporary, so if you were thinking about getting the game now is the time to download your copy before it returns to its original price of $9.99.
Sony Home Update: SingStar Dance Club now open, Dizzee Rascal in the VIP area
The new SingStar space is finally open with an animated dancing floor, music video jukebox and a special VIP room currently featuring UK rapper Dizzee Rascal with a store kiosk selling virtual Dizzee merchandise in celebration of the release of his newest CD, Tongue n’ Cheek.
A new mini-game has been added in the FarCry 2 Home Space to Rueben’s office called “Reuben’s Report.”
And, for those who are used to going back to your personal space to unwind and redecorate with your newly earned items, you may find your Alcove Set from the Siren: Ward of Despair game replaced with a rather large knight in shining armor standing in their space instead this week.
PlayStation Store Update: Investigate This! (September 20 to 26, 2009)

New this week at the PlayStation store is a seek-and-find mystery game called Interpol: The Trail Of Dr. Chaos for $9.99. In this game you play as a detective that must travel around the world to international cities to investigate crime scenes for clues that can help bring Dr. Chaos to justice. You can solve the crime on your own or have your friends help you find evidence.
This week’s PlayStation One Classic game is Final Fantasy Tactics for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable for $9.99.

Tim Kring to answer questions about Heroes on Gaia Online before season 4 premiere
Something is brewing over at Gaia Online and it means plenty of fun for Gaians.
I received a message from Christina Simmons, assistant account executive of public relations at Mullen Public Relations: “Hi Lucy, Ever wondered what it’s like to be born with extraordinary superhero powers? Well, Tim Kring, executive producer and creator of NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe nominated epic saga, Heroes is hosting a live webcast on September 21, 2009, at 7 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time), an hour before the highly anticipated Season 4 Premiere.”

This week’s PlayStation Store is full of action-packed games to keep you entertained. First game available in the store is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled for $9.99.
