by Jason Townsend-Rogers on Oct 28, 2008 at 09:01 AM

E3 2008 was an unmitigated disaster.

by Janine Dong on Oct 13, 2008 at 11:42 PM

gamertell level 5 booth babe tokyo game show 2008One of the most alluring things about the Tokyo Game Show besides getting an early sneak peak at video games in development is the abundance of booth babes.

Nearly every exhibitor’s booth at the TGS has their slew of booth girls each outfitted in a unique costume. The sole purpose of the existence of booth girls at these types of conventions is to attract attention to the exhibit they represent through the powers of seduction and cuteness. The outfits that these girls wear are usually attractive and revealing, meaning that most of these girls wear crop tops showing off their midriffs coupled with a mini-skirt showing off their long legs.

Out of all the booth girls this year, I would like to choose Level 5’s outfit as my personal favorite…

by Jason Townsend-Rogers on Oct 12, 2008 at 02:58 PM

James Grayson takes on a giant robot in Resistance: Retribution“ width=“427” height=“252” />

There is no doubt that Resistance: Fall of Man has remained one of the Playstation 3’s stand-out titles. This popularity can be attributed to its large-scale environment and the ingenuity of the game’s developers at Insomniac Games. With Resistance‘s sequel due this holiday season (2008), and a side story for the PSP titled Resistance: Retribution expected later in the year, players will have ample opportunities to defeat the Chimera at their own game.

Tokyo Game Show 2008 Resident Evil 5 Bio Hazard 5 crowd CapcomCapcom definitely enticed many, if not all, Tokyo Game Show attendants with its huge pavilion that included a completely enclosed showcase dedicated to its head runner Resident Evil 5. The showcase was well outfitted and even sported broken windows and peeling paint to add authenticity to its environment. There were four long lines set up, allowing players to choose from single play or cooperative play on the system of their choice - the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3.

by Karn Bianco on Oct 11, 2008 at 01:04 PM

Mindset

Buttons, digital joysticks, analogue sticks, touch screens, motion-sensing controllers — what’s next? Well, if Square Enix and NeuroSky (a company that specializes in interfacing bio-signals including brainwaves with consumer electronics) have anything to do with it, mind control headsets are.

At the 2008 Tokyo Game Show in Japan this week (October 9 – October 12, 2008), the two companies demonstrated Judecca, a zombie-filled first-person shooter for the PC which utilizes NeuroSky’s Mindset device to detect electrical signals in the user’s left frontal lobe and subsequently alter what is…

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce will add a multiplayer co-op mode to the action, so warriors won’t be as lonely on the field as they take out hundreds of cannon fodder soldiers, fortresses and beasts. Alongside DW: Strikeforce will be the return of…
