by Jenni Lada on Jul 17, 2008 at 03:43 PM

Digimon World Championship DS screenshotThe Digimon series has always seemed to take a backseat to Pokemon, but it showed at E3 that it still manages to get fans excited. Namco Bandai revealed at E3 that Digimon World Championship for the Nintendo DS has already gone gold. The latest game will focus on Digimon breeding and battling, and will also offer local and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection multiplayer support.

The game will feature over 200 Digimon, which should make battling interesting.

by Jenni Lada on Jul 17, 2008 at 03:17 PM

Eternal Sonata screenshot PS3 Viola
If you’ve been wondering what extra goodies are included in the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata, then look no further. Namco Bandai issued a new press release during E3 detailing the changes to the RPG originally released on the Xbox 360. Eternal Sonata is a Japanese RPG starring Frederic Chopin’s, a 19th century composer, adventures in a dream world while he lies on his deathbed in the real world.

Owners of the Xbox 360 version of Eternal Sonata should be jealous. The PS3 version features two new playable characters, Serenade and Crescendo. It also adds new outfits for all of the existing characters and additional songs to the soundtrack. If cosmetic changes aren’t your thing, then perhaps new dungeons, some extra quests and extra endings would please you.

Final Fantasy XIII is the flagship title for the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII collection which includes Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII.  Therefore, many assumptions for the release of the game were thought that it would be a Playstation 3 exclusive.

Luminous Arc 2 will brighten up an otherwise dreary November

by Jenni Lada on Jul 12, 2008 at 04:34 PM

Luminous Arc 2 box artI knew it! I knew Atlus would step up and bring North America Luminous Arc 2: Will! It is bringing the DS strategic RPG as Luminous Arc 2 in November, 2008. In even better news, Atlus will be offering the same promotion with the translated version of the game that the Japanese version received - every copy of the game will come with a CD soundtrack. It will jack the price up $10, making the game $39.99, but at least you’re getting something special. IGN received the exclusive inside look at the game and the right to reveal the good news.

Luminous Arc 2 is a lot like Luminous Arc. There are witches, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection battles with other users and the ability to bond with characters after battles. Except Luminous Arc 2 expands on it all. Roland and his friends, from Carnava, are charged with going after the Shadow Frost Witch, who has left the Rev Magic Association and hunkered down in the forbidden land of Granend. It has more side quests, branching story options and multiple endings.
