Game Critics Awards announces its Best of E3 2008 winners
The Game Critics Awards list of the best games of 2008 has just been announced and the winners for the Best of E3 2008 include Fallout 3, LittleBigPlanet, Spore, Gears of War 2 and Madden NFL 09.

PC games now playable with PS3 SIXAXIS
Initially, StreamMyGame allowed users with Windows or Linux systems to play PC games on the PS3. And people who would be able to do it downloaded the free program from StreamMyGame and rejoiced. Now StreamMyGame has a new software that allows people to use a PS3 SIXAXIS controller to play PC games.
The StreamMyGame PS3 player and SIXAXIS pairing tool are free downloads. Once everything is installed, there is configuration option which allows users to set PC game controls to buttons on the SIXAXIS. Also, the program will let you set the SIXAXIS to work by being connected to the PC with a USB cable, or use it wirelessly with Bluetooth.

Scrabulous users - spell G-O-O-D-B-Y-E
Hasbro has just filed a lawsuit against the makers of the popular Facebook application Scrabulous. Scrabulous was created by Rajat Agarwalla and Jayant Agarwalla under the name RJ Softwares and has 506,580 daily active users according to its Facebook page.
Hasbro is alledging that Scrabulous is ripping off its board game (and now Facebook game) Scrabble. Hasbro is demanding that the application be removed from Facebook in US and Canada, since EA and Hasbro have released a Scrabble Facebook app in those countries.
Send out of this world Spore e-cards
MashON has a brand new e-card creator designed to promote Maxis’ Spore. The Spore e-card creator tool allows users to create a customized card featuring Spore environments and characters, and then send it. You do have to be a MashOn member to send cards, but membership is free and it is easy to create an account.
There are 12 different backgrounds and 64 different clip art characters that can be added to your card. The clip art characters can be rotated and positioned wherever you like on the background. Once you’ve picked out the best characters for you, you can add one of eight different word bubbles and write in some text. Then send it off to your favorite EA fan.
Comcast’s Dark Knight online Flash game

Many game companies, analysts disappointed with E3 2008
Not many attendees were impressed with this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). During an interview held Thursday, (July 17, 2008) Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo’s senior managing director and general manager of entertainment analysis and the development division, told MSNBC that even though many fans of long running Nintendo franchise games such as Mario, Zelda or even StarFox were upset he felt that E3 was no longer a place for those types of game.
