Free Uncharted 2 downloadable content will be available before 2010

by Jeremy Hill on Oct 24, 2009 at 11:53 AM

Without seeing the NPD sales figures for October 2009 one would probably not be too far off in assuming that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will be one of the top selling games of the month. Uncharted 2 already packs in about 12 hours of single-player gameplay but its multiplayer mode… Continue Reading »

Opinion: EA’s Madden NFL 10 downloadable content is out of bounds

by Brian Allen on Aug 31, 2009 at 11:34 AM

Electronic Arts often comes under fire for being an evil empire bent on game industry domination. I love EA’s games, including the annual incremental Madden update. There is a lot to like about this year’s package, including the new tackling system that makes plays completely “unscripted.” That brings us to… Continue Reading »

by Brian Allen on Aug 13, 2009 at 07:31 PM

EA game designer Donny Moore answered one of the big questions among Madden faithful on his Twitter: Former NFL star Michael Vick is not included in the game’s first roster update. Vick is still trying to find a new NFL team after his release from prison on charges connected to… Continue Reading »

Sims go around the world with the first Sims 3 expansion pack

by Jenni Lada on Aug 5, 2009 at 01:29 PM

That was quick. EA has already announced the first Sims 3 expansion pack. Of course, we all knew this announcement was coming. Honestly, I think it’s a bit tardy. After all, the game came out June 2, 2009. The expansion announcement should have come July 3, not August 3, 2009.… Continue Reading »

by Jenni Lada on Jul 31, 2009 at 01:31 PM

Some owners of the recently released PS3 version of SNK and Ignition’s fighting game The King of Fighters XII noticed something wasn’t quite right. I’m talking about the online multiplayer matches. There was, and still is for some users, an incredible amount of lag during said matches. The game will… Continue Reading »

by Jenni Lada on Jul 17, 2009 at 03:42 PM

By now PS3 Killzone 2 players have probably gotten a bit tired of the “Steel & Titanium” and “Flash & Thunder” downloadable content map packs. After all, the first was released April 30, 2009 and the second June 11, 2009. Well, the PlayStation.Blog has just announced that “Napalm & Cordite,”… Continue Reading »

Now that July 6, 2009 has passed, Final Fantasy IV: The After Years players have quite a few additional story options. Square Enix has made four additional chapters available so far: Rydia’s Tale, Yang’s Tale, Palom’s Tale and Edge’s Tale. Each additional story is 300 points (US$3) via WiIWare. Don’t expect the PS3 Fallout 3 DLC until September ‘09

by Jenni Lada on Jul 13, 2009 at 02:45 PM

Bad news for PlayStation 3 owners of Fallout 3. That downloadable content that you thought was going to be available in June, 2009, isn’t. Of course, you probably already realized that by now, given that it’s July already. The thing is, you’re going to have to wait quite a bit… Continue Reading »

Battlefield Heroes sports some MJ inspired threads (updated)

by Jeremy Hill on Jun 30, 2009 at 12:24 PM

We can choose to look at EA’s actions in one of two ways - they’re either paying homage to the late Michael Jackson, or cashing in on his death. Either way it will release two awfully familiar costumers for Battlefield Heroes in July 2009. The first costume is the Smooth… Continue Reading »

Casual Friday: Update for June 20-26, 2009

by Jenni Lada on Jun 26, 2009 at 02:22 PM

It’s a good week for people who happen to be Big Fish Games and PlayFirst members. Whether you’re a PC or Mac owner, if you love Breakout and Alleyway style games it’s a good time to invest in a PlayFirst PlayPass. Two action games in this vein, Pirate’s Treasure and… Continue Reading »
